Carbon Block
Activated carbon is used to absorb various contaminants from water. It is particular useful in removing organics, odours, odd tastes & bacteria as well as chlorine from the water. Small carbon filters are available to fit the standard 10” & 20” standard filters and larger back-washable media filters are available for higher flowrates.
Filterone
Filter One cartridges are available as either dual gradient melt-blown, pleated polypropylene or a washable pleated polyester.
All FilterOne filters cartridges offer 95% removal efficiency at high flowrates in the range of 1-50 micron.
The washable filter may be washed and re-used up to 400 times thereby reducing operating cost in waters with high suspended solids.

Cyclone Filters
Cyclonic filters operate by pumping the liquid to be filtered tangentially in to the filter body. This results in a cyclonic action within the filters body whereby the dense suspended solids are thrown to the outside edge of the vessel under centrifugal force. The filtered liquid then reverses direction travelling up through the filter bod and out leaving the dense solids at the base of the vessel where it is removed drain the ½” drain valve.
